As I already talked about, food and gas prices are one of the first things where to look for signs of inflation, deflation, stagflation and/or hyperinflation. All those “flations” are just terms to define expansion or suspension of currency aka money supply. We do say money supply, but for long time its not real money we are talking about. Its fiat currency because its declared as a currency by the authority in power to enforce its use. Currency supply, real money, food and gas prices, and many other indicators are in relationship that should be understood by everybody intending to ever exercise their purchasing power. And that purchasing power is what is affected with every change in currency supply, it either grows, stays same or declining. With hyperinflation it deteriorates very fast. When hyperinflation takes off, purchasing power takes nosedive, and you may have tones of “money” and still not be able to buy much. Hyperinflation carries hunger, sorrow and pain with it for the unprepared and the greatest opportunity for those in the know. I talk about it from experience not to scare you but to give you heads up and show you where to look for signs. Whatever your opinion may be, I am at peace for I know it to be truth.
